Announcement: We’ll See You Next Year! :D
Jul 15th
“What? But you guys just started!”
No need to fret!
WINARS is merely entering a comatose state. The site won’t be updated until July 2011 i.e. till I’m done with my HSSC studies + admission tests for universities.
Studies Be Hard
So what’s the reason, O WINAR Admin? Sigh. Contrary to what my teachers had been telling me, my HSSC-II studies are hard. Not just hard hard, but hard hard. The course is lengthier and very different from what we were studying last year. And it is real-taxing that way.
Balance Blogging And Studying?
“So why not balance studies and blogging?”, asked Hamad Dar (Guru-dude: He’s the reason I’m blogging today). My answer was rather simple, “Do0d lolz, I e!daa studehh or blaag. Kn’t d0 bOtHHH @ da same tym lolx…!!
I’ve thought a lot about this: do I blog or do I study? Or do I balance both? Blogging is probably more productive than studying the shitty course that we have, but it is what is required of me most at this stage of life (lolz) to become a bara aadmi.
I’ll Make You An Offer You Can’t Refuse
So here’s the deal: I put off blogging for a year (both here and on artsyHANDS). Come back next year in July harder than ever and be a true WINAR tech-blogger. Deal? (I’m hoping you’ll say yes)
Until then, I suggest you to get off the computer and take a walk.
You’re free to look around the site till July ’11.
Salaam!
Your WINAR Admin,
Bing Celebrates Spain’s World Cup WIN
Jul 12th
While Google has had World Cup based doodles on their main page, Bing upped the ante today by having beautiful and I’d even say goosebumps-inducing annotated background in celebration of Spain’s epic win in last night’s great final match.
See in it’s full glory on Bing’s home page. (you can see it if you choose ‘United Kingdom’ as your location)

Four New iPhone 4 Ads: All About FaceTime
Jul 12th
Apple has unleashed four new iPhone 4 ads today and they are all about FaceTime and how it makes moments real special*.
There’s an ad of a daughter refusing to smile but later smiling cause her Dad started singing, a grandfather getting all emotional after seeing his grand-daughter for the first time, a girl showing her new haircut to her (alleged) boyfriend and a wife informing his husband of successful impregnation.
Watch the ads after the jump.

iChatr: Chatroulette for iPhone 4
Jul 10th
If you don’t know what Chatroulette is about, it is a web service that allows random (often: horny) strangers from around the world to video chat with one another. I personally have tried it myself, but apart from meeting dozens of dudes jerking off and fondling with their Johnsons, it wasn’t all that fun.
But of course, there are any people who love Chatroulette and now, you can have it on your iPhone 4!

I wasn’t able to write yesterday since me and my awesome family was travelling. So instead of writing all these posts separately, I thought it would just be more convenient for both me and the reader that yesterday’s unwritten news gets consolidated under one blog post.
